How to Write Your heartfelt Story—even if it’s out of style—and still keep our readers in mind— in terms of selling

Whether you are writing an interactive eBook for children’s publishing or any other, keep specific points in mind.

Maybe the essence of the story you heard is fascinating, but for some reason, you couldn’t stay engaged. Or maybe, you listened to a tale that completely blew your mind, but when you tried to narrate it, it does not have the same impact.

So, why does this happen?

Chances are — that the person was using very dynamic storytelling portions. We all have stories to ascertain, and even if someone is not a professional author, we should still learn to tell our stories correctly. Stories help us feel very engaging and social in this world.

Apply the following measures to write a more compelling story that will satisfy the author as well as the reader.

  • Make the Narration “Catchy”

Catch in your story is the Opener. It’s the attention-getter, the quote that immediately hooks your reader to the story. The more off-the-wall or mysterious, the better. Challenge your audience to get lost in your narration.

  • Narrate the story

A story has natural momentum to it. If you state what happened in chronological order, you will attract your audience.

Your story is like a train on which you have invited people to join you. Those riding along can feel that you are headed towards a destination.

It is a “sketch” — ie-a story in its Purest Form.

You should have some lure to keep your audience engaged. Just remember: if you raise a question, you have to answer too, or else you will leave the audience in endless suspense. And who has that kind of time?

  • Reflect

Many people seem to tell stories just for the sake of it. But when you ask why people share stories, there is always a reason. It may be to encourage or inspire or moreover make you think differently from your thoughts. At the end of your story, take some time to reflect on what you shared. Answer any questions you might have asked, like

  • What is the moral of the story?
  • How is the topic relevant to the script?
  • For whom is this message?

Help the audience, understand what is supposed to be taken from the story. It doesn’t always have to be cheesy. The effect of your script can even be subtle; you have to make it count. By doing so, you must resolve any questions or conflicts that were raised. Finish off by mentioning restatement of a quote or an interesting fact.

Your story is anticipated

If a story is suffering, then it is mainly due to neglecting one of the above measures.

Most writers jump to the reflection and do not take the time to grab the audience with a catch. The result is confusion and even frustration. You, your stories and your audience deserve better. So, don’t give up.

Just keep in mind– Please yourself and Convince your readers at the same time.
